I’ve found these exquisite kite / lanterns – translucent like moonlight. Apparently sold to the trader on the sly by a crooked monk. A find or what ! I’ll send you a photo of them to show our client. Ring me back.”

Huh. I’ve a mind to buy them myself, return them to the temple where they belong. Bye Ben “.

What a great gesture. If the trader can’t tell the buyer where the temple is he made up the story so the lanterns would seem more interesting. He probably bought them at a cheap price and wants to make a profit. Good writing, Francine. 🙂 — Suzanne

Dear Francine,
All of it’s in the eye of the beholder. I recently went to an art museum with a friend who thought a particular painting was “beautiful.” I”m thinking, “Your taste is in your mouth….blah.”
I liked the way you set up your story through dialogue. Good one.

I agree Rochelle, about in the eye of the beholder. Glad you like the dialogue style. I’m really interested in exploring the ‘show not tell’ style of story telling. And having a 100 words is a brilliant discipline !
