GONE FISHING

‘C’mon son, eat up your bacon, your dad’s already gone to the quayside.

A lovely Cornish day, perfect for mackerel fishing. Got you gear got your

snack ? I left it on the side for you next to the bait. Yummy ! Chopped up

bits of eel and dogfish heads.’

‘Morning dad, I’ll do the mooring lines.’

Dad steers the boat into the deep clear water beyond the harbour, a good five mileS out to sea.

‘Right son, drop anchor and we’ll bait our rods. ‘

‘Here’s the tub ….guess what…. It’s full of cherry ice-cream…’
