There’s someone downstairs I can hear them come in. Nana said to stay up here. Mama went away to get better Nana said. Daddy is all quiet – where did she go ? I was hiding behind the door, heard Daddy say ” Mama hasn’t got long for this world.” Don’t know what that means. I want her back, I miss her so much.
I enjoy making quirky and kind observations about other peopleand about places. I write short word sketches about certain situations that feel significant to me, I draw little cartoons. I reflect on particular t.v programmes, films and books as they grab my interest

You captured a horrible thing through the eyes of a child beautifully, Francine. I is heartbreaking to lose a parent when one is so young. 🙁
