TIME OUT
‘Appraisal meetings, hate them. I know what my manager will say : ‘head in the clouds’, ‘not all there’.
‘I’ll hide in the men’s room cubicle, lock the door just for a while.
This is such a cliché in tv dramas, hiding in toilet cubicles. Two colleagues
come in talking about me : ‘Hal Houdini’s such an airhead, waste of space, and creepy. They should fire him.’
‘Oh really ?’ I shout over the locked door.
‘Open this door Hal, we’ll force it open ‘.
‘He’s vanished ! How ? Here’s a note ‘ Now you see me now you don’t’.

Appraisal meetings. You almost lost me with those first two words, and then I realized that was part of the point. Love this story!

Dear Francine,
Hal took being invisible to a new level, didn’t he? Too bad it won’t work on a resume. 😉
Shalom,
Rochelle

Should be on stage.
I can image a few companies letting their invisible employees go over the next few months.
