Here’s my poem.
My book choice as the last lines inspiration is ‘Grief is the Thing with Feathers’, by Max Porter.
Last line is ‘ Their voice was the life and song of their mother. Unfinished. Everything. Beautiful.’
Brothers, they stumble through
the void of her absence.
She has betrayed them them.
They hurt, want Dad to hurt
who knows despair, his and theirs.
Will she be revealed ?
‘Their voice was the life and song of their mother. Unfinished. Everything. Beautiful’.

What a wonderful title of a book, giving a twist to Emily Dickinson´s hope. To be left in such absence make me think of the song by REM

So glad you liked the title Bjorn. I can recommend the book, it’s part poetry part prose, very moving i found. Don’t know the REM song.
