‘Breaking news, latest bulletin for today, July 2051.An unknown artefact has been found by a farmer in Glastonbury. Over to our reporter Zak for the details.’
‘Thanks Harry, I’m here with Arthur, who made this startling discovery So Arthur, what do you think this could be ?’
‘I’ve always been interested in archeology Zak, especially from the twenty first century. We believe that this object was known as whitevan’ , used as a shelter. We found a primitive set of pipes in the front, possibly to power the contraption, quaint compared to our sonic zoomobiles. We’re talking pre meltdown of course.’
‘Thanks Arthur’.

Sonic zoomobiles sounds madly intriguing.

I read two similar versions, is that the way in 2015. I thought that you used the prompt in a great way.

Thanks Michael, glad you liked the story. Why there are two versions is down to my editing inefficiently I suspect.

Dear Francine,
Fun futuristic story. One has to wonder what archeologists will have to say about our society when we’re hundreds of years in the past. Good one.

Thanks Neil – of course there should have been relics of ‘white van man’ in the van.. a furry dice or a nodding Churchill dog perhaps ?
